Are those hp Photospart printers any good?

Im looking for a good quaity photo printer to print digital photos.

Anyone got any info?

seems like the photo quality is the exact same in the lower model numbers as the high.

YOu are paying for viewer windows and shit so it seems.
200.00 more for a fucking viewer window on the printer isnt worth the extra $$.

Fuck that.

What do you reconmend?
Im after quality, not gadgets.

looking at the hp photosmart 1215 for $300.00

They have one the 1315 for 430.00 but the quality is the same.

Paying for that silly view window for 130.00 more is BS when the quality and speed is the same.

Any other ideas? Ill pay more if the quality is better.
Should I even be looking at HP?

I dont need any pro printing shop in my office, just a good quality photo printer is all.

Dont any of you know anything about this shit, cause I sure dont.
Im tired of writng checks out for the most expensive assuming its the best. Doing research for once.

I'd also like to know the best quality ink jet printer for printing photos on photo paper.

Anyone know?

Most of the printers I have used have awful banding problems when printing photos.
