2003 reference: Large scale action in Iraq.

2005 reference: Worldwide war against terrorism.

Two very different things.

I am no Bush apologist, that guy is like Daddy's kid taking over the company, lol, but lets not take shit out of context. Makes you no better than the idiot talking heads that fill up Fox, CNN, and MSNBC each day. Rise above, and keep perspective.

Yeah right. Bush's cock must taste good he's got so many people sucking on it. By the way Iraq has NOTHING to do with 9-11 or terrorism other than the fact that ever since we invaded Iraq they have MORE terrorists in Iraq than before.

Seperate argument. Regardless of that discussion, you took the words out of context purposely in your post. Makes you no better than Bush apparantly is in your mind...Rise above it, I know you're better than that G.

Funny how everyone claims they'd be the greatest "bipartisan" if they were an elected official, yet when given the chance they insult, attack, and add to the problem.

Take McCain's example and become a part of the solution. I gave up mindlessly bashing political parties when I determined that they are both equally abhorrent and corrupt. Knowing that, you have to try and make the best of it.

bipartisian? That means belonging to on fo the 2 major parties. Having only 2 viable political parties is why we have problems. Both are run by idiots and people think they have to choose on side or another. Having been a former republican I think I can rip on Bush all I want. He as about as a TRUE republican as FDR was.

Right, but "ripping bush" does nothing besides show a lack of an educated viewpoint on the subject. As I told you earlier, it's not black and white. It's not bush is a moron, the left is angelic. The truth is always, always, in the middle. Bush isn't quite the absolute clueless fuck he often appears to be, and the left would not have revolutionary answers to any of the problems facing us (oil, terrorism security, etc.).

The whole right versus left nonsense is just silly. Just as the endless persecution of Clinton over Lewinsky was. Let it go, lol. So angry!

I don't know Bush personally, I have not gone to any of his cabinet meetings, I'm not involved in the high level discussions that lead to policy changes. Therefore I can't make a blanket statement like "Bush is a genius, Bush is a moron."

And I'd recommend that stance to everyone else who like me has no knowlege at all besides what "my TV tells me" regarding his ability level. For all I know he could be a blithering idiot. But let's remember our lesson for today: The truth is always somewhere in the middle.

I also am not privy to the exact workings of congress, how much compromise any president in office has to make in order to even have a small degree of success in reform. How much drama takes place behind the scenes to win votes, and to keep the machine moving forward.

It seems I can't bring you back to the middle Gator, and that's ok, you're very passionate and that's a good thing. But I will tell you this: Until you walk in another man's shoes, don't knock him. That doesn't necessarily apply to Bush, but it's a good motto for life in general.

Bush is without a doubt the most incompetent person to hold the office of the President in my lifetime. He is an absolute embarrassment to this country.

Remember how the Republicans wanted to impeach Clinton for lying about spilling his cum on Monica Lewinsky's dress?

Admit it, Bush lied his ass off about invading Iraq (no WMD, no al Qaeda connection, etc), and in so doing has created absolute chaos in the Middle East (and beyond), and caused the deaths of 1,800+ brave American service people, and has become the major rallying symbol for would-be terrorists everywhere (and don't forget that he Cheney and Rumsfeld all ducked military service in Vietnam - fucking chicken hawks).

Yet do you hear any Republicans calling for Bush's impeachment?

Haven't heard a peep out of the hypocrite right wing apologists like that sexual harraser Bill O'Reilly or that drug addict Rush Limbaugh either. Go figure.

All Bush has managed do domestically is to lose the most jobs of any President ever, and to run up the biggest budget deficits in history...but hey, don't criticize him until you walk in his shoes is all you can say?!?

Well, at least he has enriched his buddies that operate the oil industry and the military industrial complex. That's been good for some segments of the society, I guess.

To hell with that...

Impeach Bush!!! He lied and our children died.

What will it take to make you realize that the war against terrorism is a smokescreen designed to hide the activities of the New World Order envisioned by George Bush Sr. and his cabal?

More people die each year being shot with handguns by fellow citizens in this country than died in the 9/11 tragedy (not to trivialize 9/11 - however, please note that Bin Laden is still at large, and that terrorism has increased worldwide since then, despite the creation of the Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Department - how Orwellian is that?).

Now is the time to wipe the sleep from our eyes and quit following lockstep towards certain evil.

I'm way past thinking that the teleprompter reading, chucklehead puppet that is our President offers any promise for making this country, let alone the world a better, more safe place to live.

Forget his five week vacation, Bush deserves a permanent vacation - effective immediately.

Sure, whomever replaces Dubya will have a difficult job ahead in trying to right all of the wrong that Bush and the other dimwits in his Administration have wrought, but let's hope we can manage to elect a person that is a real leader, and who will face the real challenges instead of leading us down dark paths that make us less safe and less respected in the world.

Sorry for the rant, but I am fed up and sick of Bush and his cohorts...so don't even get me started with all of their BS attacks on the adult industry - or should we walk a mile in his shoes before getting upset about that too?

Have a nice day,

ADG Webmaster

ADJ on the money.

This guy is a joke, and an insult to REAL Americans who consider personal freedom and liberty core to our values as American citizens. The fact that he is still preaching the "stay the course" mantra with a failed war, economy, terrorism prevention, etc. Is just more fuel to the fire to those of us who truly care about our country. I love America, but not in a beefed up meathead way, I think our ideals are good and so are our people ? at our core.

This man however has transformed that message into an aggressive assault not only on innocent people of foreign lands but against our constitutionally protected rights as citizens of this country. It?s no wonder his approval ratings are hovering into the 30 percent range. I just don?t understand why it took so long for people to wake up.

Do you think these oil prices could have come from the first SECRET energy policy meetings. Cheney went so far as the supreme court to keep us from finding out who was involved in the meetings. Now why do you think they don't want us to know what went on in those meetings to create our energy policies? This is the first time in history it has ever been secret.

This presumes that whoever succeeds the bush junta will try to 'right all the wrong'. There is every probability that, if a republican gains office, the existing downward spiral will continue, and likely accelerate. Simple greed leading to incompetence would help it along, even if you didn't have a cadre of Dr. Evils behind the puppet pulling the strings and strapping frikkin' lasers to sharks.

All of which, of course, means fabulous opportunities to strike it rich on the backs of the people being screwed. That's YOU, by the way, unless you're one of the few people on here pulling down a couple hundred thousand a year or more.

It's funny how the right wingers scream blue murder about darwinism, yet try their damnedest to install SOCIAL DARWINISM into everything they can get their mitts on. Too poor to pay for health care? You're just too meagre a life form to matter. Can't send your kids to school? You and they don't deserve it, obviously, or you could afford it. Can't pay for gas for your rusty '81 Ford Pinto? The subhumans aren't worthy enough for transportation. No, not even public transportation now. Fucking commies. You'll probably want food stamps next.

The more I think about it, the more it seems that the 'religious right' is just using religion as a means of control, and that the people who shout the loudest about it practice it the least. Come sheeple, get your daily dose of televalium!

The president is a total fucktard.

I live in a 4 bed, 3 bath, 2-story home in Houston. I make over $100k annually and I only work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. My living expenses are less than half my income.

It is nice to see that anti-Bush posters are articulate, thoughtful and realistic while Bush supporters make posts like yours.

I'm SHOCKED

(I hope you all realize that all the same things were said about Lincoln in his day. He suspended habius corpus completely,[no more need for evidence in order to jail people], put congressmen into jail for pro-confederate speechs, was called a dictator and a criminal by most media, had big problems with the economy, and had draft riots in large cities where hundreds died at the hands of police for simply protesting being drafted into a war that they did not believe in.)

Bush said in his speech that it was the end of major operations. Even many prominent anti-bushies acknowledge that this is the case

No.... I'm simply pointing out that the "greatest president this country ever had" may have been viewed quite differently by you had you been around during his administration.

Did you actually read the things that Lincoln did? It makes a lot of the things that you accuse Bush of very very mild in comparison, doesn't it.

Today's society expects instant gratification. However, what we did in Iraq isn't something that can be fixed over night. We went to war with a country, invaded it, overthrew it's government, and now we are in the process rebuilding an entire country, it's government, and all of it's infrastructure. This is not something that happens over night.

How long did it take us to rebuild Europe after WWII? The Marhsall Plan wasn't even introduced until a year after the war ended. And to this day we are still in Japan.

Bush lied and our children died? Our children died under Clinton's watch as well, in Africa. Our goals there have still not been met, there is a war there, and innocent people are being killed every day. For all of the wonderful things Clinton did during his term as President, I wish he had stayed the course there in Africa if only because it was the right thing to do.

Bush is a twat, but we were foolish enough to elect him.

Difference is the country was at war with itself. We didn't attack some fucking sandpit because the oil companies wanted the oil.

Fuck man, get a grip on the real world.

Back when the speech was given:

"Attention turned Tuesday to a giant "Mission Accomplished" sign that stood behind Bush aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln when he gave the speech May 1.
The president told reporters the sign was put up by the Navy, not the White House.

"I know it was attributed somehow to some ingenious advance man from my staff -- they weren't that ingenious, by the way," the president said Tuesday.
Now his statements are being parsed even further.

Navy and administration sources said that though the banner was the Navy's idea, the White House actually made it.

Bush offered the explanation after being asked whether his speech declaring an end to major combat in Iraq under the "Mission Accomplished" banner was premature, given that U.S. casualties in Iraq since then have surpassed those before it.

source: http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/....accomplished/

He just cant keep his lies straight can he?

Yup....Just like Clinton attacked Kosovo.... They were no threat to us, didn't provoke us, had nothing to do with us....

And by the way, Lincoln actually provoked a war with the south because they were practicing their right to succeed from the union... read some consititutional history, they had the right to do that according to the original framers. The war was about the rights of states over the federal government, not slavery. Obviously I'm glad that things turned out the way that they did, but technically, the Confederacy was in the right. Linoln and the north were technically the aggressors, and they did NOT have the right to impose their will just because they wanted the cotten and agricultural products from the south.

Get a Grip? Please.... Can you imagine if Bush suspended Habius Corpus, with no need for evidence to put people in jail, and put other politicians in jail for simply disagreeing with him? What about if the police killed hundreds of people on Bush's orders so as to force people into the army to fight for a war that they didn't want?
