shouldnt differ, just bring it in to a store for maintainence that knows what they do and not some $1 repair shop.

Just as a sidenote, theyre not crap, but if hes every gonna sell it he gets nada, ask him to take a look at Rado, same price cat and a lot better and more worth in 5 yrs as well

if you buy a movadao, it doesn't matter where you buy it, you'll still get movado service from any dealer. they're pretty good about taking care of it.

So let me get this straight. You are buying yourself a watch to celebrate your bro's B'Day? LOL What are you getting your brother?

Doesn;t matter where you buy the watch at all man. Warranty is not an issue as long as you are not buying it from a guy wearing a trench coat and has 40 watches on. The only thing that the Movado store may offer is one kick ass deal on discontinued models. I own one and love it. Classy and Sleek. Never had a problem, but i have the 1-800 number for warranty info if i ever need it and i did not buy it form Movado.

I've heard good stories about buying premium watches from Pawn shops. They tend to not deal much with the highe eschelon of society so when they do get a good piece in it often sits waiting for a new owner. Rolexes are often a good deal and you can have them authenticated.

Movado isn't the best watch, most use a swiss quartz movement, not mechanical or automatic which is waht you are paying for in a rolex or a Breitling.
If all you want to get him soemthing taht keeps time a seiko will cost you far less. It's teh same shit inside so all you'd be paying for is the extra money for the name.

Good choice Juicy!

I have had mine for almost 25 years. Still get comments about its clean, basic design.

I get it cleaned every couple of years and it continues to work like a charm.

Actually the best deals come from Nigerians and Indonesians on Ebay. These guys always give the best deals and you can always trust them. Just send cash to them in an envelope.
