Anybody have one of those HD Upconverter boxes?

This looks pretty cool, but I'm wondering if it really works? I just returned a DVD player that was supposed to "upconvert" to 1080i because it wouldn't work. |

My samsung dvd is a hd upconverter and it does a good job. What you posted looks real cool , have you tried epinions to see if anyone posted a opinion on it?

My Yamaha RX Z9 receiver does the digital up/down to 1080i and it's fantastic if your source is good. It's hard though because once you see that HD signal everything else looks like shit, upconversion will only allow the poor quality video to display on your HDTV with HD cables.
