How This P2P Traffic Thing Really Works, Please Click Here To Find Out

I don't mean this to be a spammy thread and will try to stick to the facts on how our program works for the webmaster. I have had about 50 icq messages + dozens of e-mails asking me how it all works and I think this would be the best place for me to explain how we do things since my fingers are so fricking sore from typing the same answer to questions over and over again LOL!

OK..

P2PADS.COM is an advertising company that will place your movie/media files across the P2P networks (ie. Kazaa, Limewire, Grokster, Napster etc..). We have been working on developing this project for over a year now and it has been extremely eye opening for us as the traffic we are seeing hasn't been seen since the early days of TGP. We have the abiility of showing your movies/media to millions and millions and making you a lot of MONEY!!

Lets say you want to promote a camgirls site... Here is what you would need to get started with us... You would send us a 30 second to 1 minute movie clip (MPEG movie format) of your camgirl or trailer from your site that you would like us to distribute. You would also include a small banner so we can include it at the top of your movie, this banner will be clickable so that surfers can view your movie and click on the banner on top if they wish. This banner is dynamic so we can change it at any point during your campaign on the fly... Also we would require 3 linking codes/urls of where we would like the traffic to be sent. With our DRM system we can popup IE pages during the movie so surfers will be sent directly to your tour page / join page / console page. And guess what that is all we need to get you rocking and rolling

Anyways the traffic takes about 10 days to ramp up since we have to share you movie across dozens and dozens of servers so your campaign will run like 40 days total (30 day campaign + 10 day traffic ramp up). You should see between 15-50,000 unique clicks a day going directly to your provided urls you sent us once the campaign is past the "ramp up" stage.

You should start seeing traffic immediately after the files have been shared across our network and we can at anytime change the linking codes so if you want the traffic to be sent to another site/page/url whatever we can do that on the fly.

With our custom written software we can target specific keywords you would like to go after, for example if you're looking to target camgirls I would probably suggest you target "camgirl", "girls on cam" etc... We can target anything you like pretty much... We can also geo-target all the traffic that is sent to you also, so if you want to send the german traffic to this site or the UK traffic to this site that is your business

The best thing about the traffic is that it will never stop, sure after your campaign is over the traffic will decrease quite a bit because we're no longer sharing you but you can bet that thousands of surfers will be sharing your files on their computers for years to come. Hopefully you will see the value in continuing to renew your campaign with us and your files will get shared deeper and deeper thru the p2p networks and make you even more money!

Here are our stats from Adult Action Cash for the past 40 days, keep in mind this is just ONE of our accounts with AAC.

Anyways the cost is $10k for the month and if you're interested please give us a shout and let us know how we can help you.

Thank you for taking the time of reading this long and drawn out post, I hope it helps answer some of the questions you may have on our service.

If you have any further questions please feel free to e-mail Magnus and he would be glad to answer them for you.
Thanks,
DH

Yes the price is 10k, don't worry we're not running off anywhere with your money.

Unfortunately at the moment we don't offer a revshare option just a flat fee campaign price for a month.

No problem Tony, 10k is no drop in the bucket ;)

We will be offering more affordable packages in the future whereas your files will not be shared on as many servers but you will still get a lot of quality traffic.

DH, using your AAC campaign as an example, and assuming I signed up and did equally as well.. I would spend $10k, and earn $12k for a $2k profit ?

Hey dude, yep plus you would continue to make money forever as those movies would be out there on the networks forever. If you looked back at your stats a year later it might be more like $20,0000-30,0000+ for a 10k investment

If you look at the stats we sent AAC over 900,000 uniques during the 40 days, so if you sent that same traffic to a paysite and it did 1:1000 that would be 900 sales or if you did 1:2000 that would be 450 sales.. We're currently converting 1:175 with AAC

You do the math on that for me this time ;)

And you're trying to put yourself out of business by detailing the methodology because....?

Hell, thanks for the business model if anyone is interested I'll do it for 9k - with a 25k range in traffic volumes like your offer and some flashy stats to boot.

I am not detailing the methodology by any means, this project has been developed over the past year and it's not just as simple as throwing some movies up on your server and sharing them. It's soooooo much more intricate than that, I am just trying to explain in "laymens" terms how our system works and what our customers can expect. Our system involves custom written p2p software, 50+ servers strategically spread across the world in specific datacenters and a custom drm system.

Be my guest to try and copy my business model, they say copying is the highest form of flattery. Look at what I did with GTS ;)

$3 + 8 windows boxes and i can get the same traffic as above. Who is up for it? Althought i dont think the traffic will work great on pps, because i tried that before.

Be my guest xlogger, I'm not going to take "jabs" at you. You obviously seem to have a good base of knowledege when it comes to P2P.

If you can deliver half of what we can deliver with 8 servers I will take my hat off to you.

All the best!

Actually converting sales @ 1:3026. Either way it may be a good investment if you have something fresh.

Just to add to this, we have been telling our clients the way we work for weeks now. Do you think anyone would even dream of spending 10k before having a somewhat decent working knowledge of how we generate the traffic.

This is no grand secret, I thought I would release this info to the general public so I don't have to recite it time and time again thru ICQ to interested clientele.

Saves me alot of time and as you know time is money

Also a quick stats from one of my servers. (i own 5 servers). Each has about 6,000+ files.

Below are a little (todays) stats of 21 files. Remember i own 6k files on 1 servers and a total of 5 servers.

This is just limewire, i use others too.

With all due respect, if your numbers are what you say they are and it's "so much more intricate" you're doing it wrong. As far as copying goes, I'd only copy from the best not mediocre attempts. I'm sure you'll find some buyers though - and be laughing all the way to the bank.

Rep I'm sorry that you seem to have an issue with me, hopefully one day you will see the value in working with people instead of sitting back and criticizing people. I might not be able to remember every single person in life that did something nice for me, but I can sure as hell remember every single person who ever treated me like an asshole...

Well if this works 1/2 as well as you guys say it does its well worth the money!

I've been looking for alternative ways to generate sales and this looks VERY interesting to say the least.

For anyone that's more of a do-it-yourselfer Vidlock has been working with a small number of companies for P2P advertising accounts.

You host the page that displays the ads, and you're in charge of getting the files onto the P2P network.

We take care of file encoding and license delivery, and everything DRM. The service is free in exchange for a 15% rake of the traffic.

Again, once the files are encoded it's up to you to get them onto the P2P networks. This is closer to a self-serve gas station model then the full service model.

So if you're looking for a low cost (but much less full service) option to try feel free to drop us a line at [email protected].

Our experience with the traffic using AFF and Smashbucks is around 1 paid signup per 5000 unique hits.

Note, with P2P traffic, around 50% of it is going to be International. Conversions for it generally suck balls (probably because $25 is the median monthly income in most of these countries), but having a GEO-IP strategy can be useful.

So if you already know how to generate P2P traffic but need a DRM solution we may be a good fit. If you don't have the tools to generate P2P traffic the P2PAds is definately the way to go.

Oh Also, XLogger, if you have a minute please drop me an email or ICQ sometime. Would like to discuss a few ideas that I think you may be knowledgable on.

The old way (script commands) was indeed removed in wmp9.

Pretty sure winamp still doesn't support drm. it didn't yesterday

DH
Here's the math I did. Your stats show 1:3025 for paid signups. At 904,748 uniques for 40 days, that would give the buyer 678,561 uniques for 30 days. At 1:3025 and $35 average pps, that would be 224 signups for a total of $7840 for a loss of $2160.
