Yes. I'm excited that someone actually calls me, especially even if it is one of those pre-recorded telemarketers.

They are fun! We have our number in our sig , so we get alot! Some people that do not like to answer them are people who are hiding from something ie. Ex girl , bill collector, law, etc.

I've found that ppl with fucked up credit never answer because they think its a bill collector.... More well to do people will because they know there's always oppurtunity possibly knocking at their door, and because they realize that it's responsible to be 'available' to everyone who may want to talk to you.

I answer every call - I have kids and I wouldn't want to risk having missed a call from them if it was an emergency & they needed me. I also have a good way of getting rid of telemarketers - I tell them I'm on welfare the second they release their spiel - I tell them 'whatever it is you're selling, I'm on welfare and can't afford it - it's a waste of your time and you should get me off of your lists' - telemarketers call once every 6 months now & before, it was once every week. :)

They are my favorite. My phone book consists of a few friends and mainly familiy. Anytime I get a number or a private call I get excited. My life is rather boring as you can imagine.
