it was an online reservation, we are only able to cancel the ticket within 3 days of the departure date. after that we are stuck with it. We did however cancel the ticket so she couldnt use it anywhere else.

we also went through the trouble of paying more money and locating an airline that would give her a window seat, wich was accomodated as well.
