No offence but those are a shitty models then !!! Good web cam model makes anything from $ 1500 up to 5-6 K a month . I'm talking about her commissions and not gross sales .

On sites like iFriends (i.e. where they work on their own and not in studios), $1500+ week is certainly possible. Many of the studio-based cam girls don't make nearly as much - and a few studios/sites don't affer any % of sales, just flat wages (most of them don't stick around very long though!)

Most webcam models are lazy as fuck. They barely stay online long enough just to get by. We have models that make 2000.00 US a month easily, with minimal hours put in.

If most webcam models took the job seriously and actually worked a 40 hour work week they could easily bring $5000.00 a month.

everybody is good at something, not everything. if they are great at being camgirls, working the customer and the cam, retaining a regular base, etc.. they either wont have the time to work on generating traffic or they just wont be skilled in that field.

Yup, you are right on all that info. Other stuff that are not mentioned: Chathosts can get 100% if she introduced the member to the site and gets the person to sign up with a 100% payout link. There is a maximum and minimum per minute rate (the minimum being $1.99 per min.). On top of that, there are fanclub membership sales, DVD sales (DVDs are created & sent by iFriends at no cost but the option is available only to HD hosts), VOD (Video on demand) sales, HDTV shared revenues (using the pooling system), and shopping cart sales (Oh, and Clickcash, of course...but you already know that .). The "time bug" is noted as being 3 hours. All the host has to do is simply to ask the viewer to log in again (or boot him out, thus making him log in again) when 3 hours is up in order for the meter to run again. Depending on the host, one can make between zero dollar and a few grand a week.

The only other camsite which may be competitive in terms of the cut is Camcontacts. I'm not a host there (I host on iFriends only), but they claim to give these cuts:

However, keeping in mind that the overall per minute prices on CC is (on average) lower than that on iFriends, that means the earning potential of the host may be lower as well. Payment options also vary from site to site (i.e. how often one gets paid and through what method). Other sites like ImLive are paying 35% (55% if the person is referred to the site by the host) with a rating system.

Hi! I've been here for awhile now....just to spy on you guys (kidding! ). I just keep a low profile here.
