The trick here is to keep video taping the landscaping company every time they come out. That way you can document the blowing of debris onto your property and other actions.

Trying to get the cops envolved in civil issues is damn near next to impossible.

Now each time they blow debris into your yard or whatever, call up a different landscaping company to do a clean up. Get reciepts. Then the same day they are done cleaning up the stuff blown into your yard file a small claims case against the landscapers of citi bank and citi bank themselves. Do this every damn single time and make sure you ask for court fees in your paperwork.

As for your dog, yet dogs are treated as property and are seen as property in the eyes of the law. Do make sure you also get reciepts for the vet visit, the shaving and everything else envolved. Do not try to get cute though and go after pain and suffering or anything that like. It does not fly in such cases and can get your case thrown out.
Then proceed to file a case against both parties yet again. Though make sure you also add to the paperwork current and future related vet bills due to the pesticide spraying. FYI there is no cash limit on a sick animal that needs ongoing treatment for years, but there is one if they just outright kill it.

You could also make a copy of the video, then contact them again and make it very clear that you will be sending that video to all of the local news stations if they don't make this shit right.

Plenty of people have met me. I've been in plenty of trouble in my life. Now that I'm older, I don't go around getting in fights anymore in traffic, at bars, or otherwise. If you did something to one of my dogs though, I could care less about your felony assault charges, I would smash your face in. Incidentally, in Canada we don't have felony assault, and in Costa Rica, I don't have to worry about being arrested for any type of assault.

If I had a "felony assault" charge for every fight I started in my younger years, I'd still be serving time. Nobody get's assault charges if there isn't a pack of witnesses around to negate the he said/he said.

you know, another legal thing you could do is show the video to a local news station. chances are they might be able to help get citi bank or the landscapers to pay for the vet bill, and give them some bad publicity as a bonus to you.

Exactly. I'm not married, I don't have children. It costs me a fortune to move my dogs around the world with me (okay back and fourth from Costa). The bill for food and bones each month is staggering. It stands to reason that I'm probably pretty attached to them. It'd take a lot to make me snap and attack someone these days, but doing something so stupid to my dogs is one of them.
