Adios USA, bonjour Canada.

I had a great run here, I'll never forget Cali. Time to head home and back to a slower pace and a University education.

I had to make a choice... University at my age is just the right one no matter how I look at it.

I went back to school when I was 25. Wasn't too bad. Did a forest engineering diploma and then did a BSc at UVic. Now doing an MSc in engineering. Sometimes best to go back to school later in life.

I know- but it's not like CA doesn't have a good University.

I guess for you (CAnadian) it's a hell of a lot cheaper in BC than UCLA etc.

What's the education? UBC/SFU/UVic Vs. UCLA and their thousand sister schools in CA?

To go the career path I chose, I needed a BA from a Canadian accredited University. Uvic is close to my family, close to my roots and just familliar territory. Not to mention cost of living and cost of education is twice as low, if not more.

Thanks. I am getting a bachelor of arts degree with a double political science and psychology major. There's a few routes I can go with that. I have a long term goal in plan here... not just going back for the fun of it or for the chicks.

It's time to get serious with my life.

Psych's only really any good if you do a Phd. Otherwise, I dunno what you'd use it for. I did a BSc in Geography.

Yeah. Usually the 1st year is general shit. Just thought BA or BSc? After that I decided my major. You don't have to declare that until year three though.

Ehh... its hard to say... they have ownership of many of the apartment buildings in town, ...Nanaimo's kind of weird I guess. Right now I'd say the worst crime area is probably out in Cinnabar valley which hardly qualifies as part of "town"
