Canon 1Ds for these
Mainly the 14-70 F4, and the 15mm f2.8.
By no means is the photo quality determined by the camera - I used to use a 100$ camera w/ similar results.. just no processing costs now :DComment

I did email him, he says he doesn't explore much these days due to health (not sure exactly), but he seems like a great guy, def. more hardcore than the common canuk explorer :P
The toronto photos were taken from around the place, but mainly from the malting factory.. good to check out, but v. difficult to get into :DComment
