    how can you tell is someone is faking the page rank of there site?

    For example, someone selling PR links on a sites that shows a PR of 6 but only a few backlinks from lower PR sites are showing.

      just check and make sure the backlinks actually show up in the "view-source" of the page with the backlink on it
