I watch the Figure Skating and several other events on the Olympics....... just watched the Pairs skate and I must say that was THE most fucked up thing I have ever seen......... The Canadians HAD that damn Gold Medal............... flawless skate and all, and they gave it to The Russians, who mind you, are good....... but they made several erros..... so what do the judges do? They give it to them any damn way.........

GOD..... that was crazy and Canada was robbed blind on that one.

I am not blaming it on the skaters at all or discrediting them, they were great, BUT they were NOT flawless and The Canadians were......... and from the looks of things, The Russians weren't at all comfortable with the voting either....... those damn judges are on crack......

I could care less about figure skating actually compared to hockey, there's just no way that it's the only sport people care about in the Olympics. My guess would be downhill or figure skating would be right up there if not above it.

America will still hold their own I think in hockey this time. Men have a decent chance at the bronze and the women should get gold again (over your ladies).

Now if anyone's up for a basketball game........ ;-)

Just a little addition: I absolutely hate figure skating just to make that clear. To tell you the truth, I'm going on what the announcers and crowd were saying when I tuned in after the Texas-Ku game.

Surprise, surprise, the Russian judge put the Russian pair at #1 and the Canadians at #2. Their vote was the tiebreaker. What BS that is. On a side note, I thought the Canadian guy was a real hottie and I loved the French accent. hehe ;) Go Canada, or something like that, lol.

Just watched the interview with the Canadian Team......... they took it all so gracefully, true heroes in my book, but I still think they won. Too bad there is no way to contest judges decisions, but they did say they were getting phone calls like crazy saying that this was just plain wrong. And whether you are a fan of Ice Skating or not, any fool could see this was just plain wrong!!

What abuot the Snowboarders? rotfl....... USA swept this one, but the Silver Medalist was a riot........ listening to AC/DC in his headphones and all he came there for is women and beer......... oh yes, and since he has never eaten Wheaties in his life, he wants to be on a box of Cocoa Puffs......... I love to see people just be themselves........... LMAO

I am into about all of it but the Hockey, never been much of a Hockey fan myself........

I'm burdened by not having seen the competition, but is the scoring ALL flawlessness? I mean, doesn't the difficulty of what each pair attempted fit in as well, plus the creativity of their program, and so on?

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

If we go by what you are saying, then MY GOD, I should go enter the Olympics and I'd rake it all in, just because I could plan a more difficult program and ATTEMPT to do it.

Screw ALL that, the Canadians didn't ATTEMPT anything, they DID everything in their program, and it was perfectly clear they were flawless in doing so, while the Russians tripped all over the place. The Russian SKATERS were not even happy with the decision made here........................

I watched it last night, Totally infuriating. Canadians did not deserve to lose that Gold. Like the announcer said "This is a very sad day in figure skating". Guess that is what happens when reputation preceeds ability.
