It was funny I was at the airport. I look around all the guys are on their laptops. The women were all reading romance novels.

It's not necessarily about reading - I don't know how that got interpreted from my post...

It's about writing reviews, complaining or praising a product on Amazon, cnet, gamespot, etc. AND/OR posting on messageboards (any message board, not just GFY).

That men make up the users who do this for the most part because they don't have an outlet or the conversational freedom of talking about their feelings and experiences with situations/products/people etc., but women do.

My mom reads the entire newspaper every morning religiously. In fact, if they don't deliver it, she gets pissy and she will go out to buy it.

I dont think theres much truth to it. It's not like we're in touch with our feelings here on GFY. The convos on here are the same shit I talk about with friends. You girl is saying we don't openly discuss our feelings amongst friends so we come online to do it anonymously, but how many people here do you see discussing their feelings? It's all would you hit it, pwned and other bullshit threads.

I think the reason women don't use message boards is because there's not as many women who use computers to make money. Most women in the 18-29 range who use computers regularily use them for hotmail and myspace. I don't mean to say this is true for all women, cause obviously there are women on GFY, I'm just talking about the majorities.
