The ufc is alot like santa claus. If you believe in it, then of course these highly scripted matches are going to look real. One day animal mother will perhaps create a bond with a famous cage fighter (like i did) and he will get the inside scoops and realize it isnt all real. When this happens, the next ufc he watches will be like the first christmas he had after he found out santa wasnt real....the excitement and wonder will have been replaced by anger and resentment.

Yes it was much better , when it first started. They sanitized the shit out of it to get in on more markets. Just watching the pre fight hype on spike the other nite made me switch channels. BOOOOOOOOOOOORING !!!!!!!!!!

There was some talk that last nights fight between chuck liddel and jeremy horns fight had been rigged... and I don't mean "Rigged" like a fake knockdown, I mean chuck was told that if he knocked jeremy horn down to fast he was to let him get up.. so the fight would last longer... and fans would be more happy with a 15 minute beating instead of the regular 2 min liddel beating.... If you saw the fight you would notice how many times liddel had the chance to finish it and never did... so I kind of believe that rumor. And IMO that would be has rigged as its gonna get.

Dont get me wrong, i like the ufc but i hate seeing people spending their hard earned cash on something they can watch every week (wwe) for free. A perfect example of how fake the ufc is, was the telligman/sylvia fight. At first glance that fight looked to end in one of the most brutal knockouts that the ufc has witnessed, but my friend (famous cage fighter) made me watch it again. Prior to the "ko" telligman slyly winks at tim, who then flurries and ends with the "brutal" high kick....if you watch it again, you will not only see the "wink" but you will also see that the slapping sound of the kick was late...this was due to the sound engineer missing his cue for the "kick sound".

I beg to disagree man, horn a terror? more like a total fuck up... he was ass-kicked for the entire fight, and made himself out to be WAY more of a fighter than he is. If you watch the first 3 knock-downs... when liddel got on top of him and started throwing the hammer, he could have kept going until horns face was mush... but he didnt, he would just hop up ad let him go.

You don't know shit about ground fighting. Most of the shots Chuck were throwing in Horn's guard were being deflected by his forearms, and Horn moving.

Liddell got up, he knows better than to give Horn a chance on the ground. He is pure technique, uses no strength, and is one of the most highly sought after trainers for grappling today.
