4000 Posts! [PICS] NO Drama! Oh My! - GoFuckYourself.com

In celebration of my 4000th post (oh god, is my life that pathetic?), here are some famous and not-so-famous "4000s" in history:

In 1983, 22 members of the IRA were sentenced to a total of over 4000 years in jail for various crimes, most involving things like murder, terrorism, vandalism and general "naughty behaviour".

It is believed the magnificent city of Troy existed for 4000 years. For years it was considered inpenetrable to outside forces ... that is until Brad Pitt came along with a little present:

Shortly after 9/11 rumors began to circulate claiming that 4,000 Jews had failed to report for work at the WTC on the fateful day, supposedly because they had been warned to stay away by Israeli secret services, which were allegedly responsible for the attack.

The claim has since been proven false - mostly because the Israeli secret service are not very bright. Here's a pic of their training exercise called "Think of a pretty color"

Amnesty International estimates that over 4000 people were executed in 2004. Apparently China led the way with some 3400 which led some government authorities there to analyze their current criminal justice system: In 2006, they plan on hitting the big 5k.

As of 1996 there were an estimated 4000 Bengal tigers left in existence. Although that number may not be accurate as the guy who was sent to count them hasn't been heard from since.

And lastly, just last month in Surrey, UK, more than 4,000 skids, err, people played air guitar to "Sweet Child O' Mine" by GUNS N' ROSES at once. Authorities were overjoyed - crime in the county was down 35% that day and just as coincidentally, the special ed high school classes across the township were pretty much empty. Hmm.

Oh and for those looking for hot chicks, I bring you IMO, the hottest of them all, Monica Bellucci ... no relevance to 4000, except the number of times I'd like to ... well, you can imagine:
