Pay Pal On Tech Tv's Cybercrime Show

Did anyone else catch that ?? It was pretty interesting seeing Pay Pal on Cybercrime. I guess that with all of the complaints, they figured that they'd check into it.

Pretty much, Pay Pal put the blame of their problems on security measures, saying that it's to make the customer safe.

Then they said that they now have over 500 people there working in customer service, so they do have people there. The BBB took their approval from them, then gave it back after Pay Pal got their 500 customer service members. They said that there's still 100K complaints that they still have to dig into.

I'll have to admit that their support did pretty much suck. I don't know how it is now, but people are still bitching about them, so it must not be.

Does anybody think TechTV's Leo Laporte looks an awful lot like the dude in the hat on the Ovaltine commercials?

Coincidence? I think NOT!

I've said this before and I'll say it again --- PayPal is a piss poor operation.

I know people love them because they're cheap, but that company has A LOT of problems.

Like losing a ton of money, among other things. ($30 Million quarterly)

Their IPO has been delayed, which is supposed to help keep them afloat. The delay was for a patent infringement lawsuit that was filed before the IPO.

So I don't know how they can hire all of this staff that they're claiming they're hiring --- since they're obviously running low on funds.

I tried withdrawing money from my paypal account in to my bank account, and it took 4EVER.

Nobody replied to my emails either.

I know I'll never use paypal again.

it can take up to 4 days to a transfer.

You could always use your paypal credit card to get rid of the money faster.

Like any company there are always a % that have issues.
