Photoshop & Painter!
In regards to retouching images etc....is there any advantage that Painter has
over Photoshop? |

With all of the plug-ins available, I would give photoshop the definite edge. Just my .02

The ones that I use most are:
Alienskin EyeCandy 5 Alienskin Xenofex 2 Andromeda Shadow various Richard Rosenman plug-ins (all) FlamingPear plugins DigitalElement Aurora2 Panopticum LensProIII (also Fire3, Engraver, Alphastrip, and Digitalizer) There are a few others too, just depends on what you want done.

Richard Rosenman's Advanced Color Corrector does a great job for that. Also, AutoFX's Dream suite and Mystical Lighting plug-ins.
