Warning - Domain Registry of America - SCAM
I'm sure some you guys get these in the mail from time to time as well... letters from this 'company' that look just like a bill, trying to trick people into transferring their domains to this new registrar, at a way higeher than normal annual fee. Unless you read carefully, it LOOKS LIKE A BILL, and I am sure that some poor saps fall for it.
Anyways, last year I finally got them to stop sending me the crap, and all was well here by the sea. Until today, when the nightmare was revisited due to some new domain registrations. So, note to the newbies, IT IS A SCAM - IT IS NOT A BILL. You do not need to spend $25 a year for domain registration from a company that tries to trick you into thinking it's a bill. Anyone else successfully gotten them to stop sending the junk? Maybe there is a way for it to be permanent removal from the list, as opposed to being re-added whenever I reg a new domain? |

I used to get them all the time. They went right into the recycling bin. Haven't seen one in at least a year.
