To slag him off because the UFC would not give him a slot is ridiculous.

To also think that Liddel is the ONLY ONE to have gotten better since 99 is also stupid.

With no experience he gave the number one man in MMA back in the day trouble. To this day Shamrock gives excuses on how he wasn't prepared. Horn has only progressed forward.

I couldn't give a definitve answer, it could go either way, but if I was a betting man, I'd put money on Horn. I'm open to anyone willing to wager.

Told you so, Chuck dominated Horn like Horn has never been dominated before. Chuck's takedown defense was flawless, and the punches he was throwing were very controlled. Horn had no choice but to try and stand and trade with Chuck.

After Horn got rocked by that punch in the 1st, he was finished, it just took awhile for him to admit it to the ref.

Oh get off your high fucking horse. No one has stayed up with Liddell as long as Horn did.

He knocked him down, he got back the fuck up.

So much for your Horn is a tomato can.

I never said Horn was a can, I said he hasn't beat anyone worth a crap in a long time, but seriously, it's like when Tyson fought Lewis, just because you can stand up for a long time doesn't mean anything when you are just getting beat up and really doing nothing in return.

I think Horn was looking for a ref stoppage earlier in the fight and when he didn't get it he finally verbally submitted.

He should stick to fighting in the 185lb division

My prediction was off by one round :(

For you statwhores out there that are impressed by Horn's 100 fights and excellent record, take a look at how many big wins he has: ZERO. He's made a name for himself by demolishing subpar talent.

Light Heavyweight Bout
Randy Couture vs. Mike Van Arsdale - Couture TKO, rd. 2

Should be a wrestling clinic between two old-timers.

Welterweight Bout
Diego Sanchez vs. Brian Gassaway - dirty sanchez by choke

I can't wait till sanchez gets KTFO. Unfortunately, this won't be the fight.

Welterweight Bout
Frank Trigg vs. Georges St. Pierre - Rush by dec.

Excellent matchup. I don't think Trigg's head is in the game anymore.

Heavyweight Bout
Tim Sylvia vs. Tra Telligman - Sylvia via TKO early.

This is like a special-ed fight. The mongoloid vs. the pec-less monster.

Middleweight Bout
Matt Lindland vs. Joe Doerksen - yawn
Travis Lutter vs. Trevor Prangley - Lutter by dec.

Light Heavyweight Bout
James Irvin vs. Terry Martin - Irvin by tko.

This is why joey odessa lurks on my posts. Bonus points for predicting the lindland snoozefest... wait.. no.. that was pretty much a given.

Props to Horn for enduring a tough first round and actually looking competitive in the third round.

And a big "thumbs up" to Liddell for damaging another retina.
