In response to the topic... it's kinda weird.. You are told from the first time you get in the industry that everyone shaves so when you finally get your own program and vow to run it honestly and it starts working and earning money without it.. theres kinda a half surprised feeling that you're keeping everything covered and paid out and a proud but resigned feeling that you're not making mega amounts of free cash. You can almost detect the tone behind some of the posts from some small/med program owners... (because they are less likely to use reps) or at least i think i've picked up that vibe.. whether it's just my imagination or not.

Even though i still expect most people to shave, it's not until to run your own program that you realise it might not be as widespread as you think and there probably is a whole bunch of legit people out there doing ok...

Plus really I think there are a bunch of people that value their ratios and would rather use low ratios to get more webmasters and more money rather than shaving for it.. also the fact that getting caught even just for one single solitary shaved sale would fuck your credibility up forever in an intangible industry where almost all you have is the value of your word.

They all shave so find a sponsor that makes you the most money is the hard part. I miss fatpockets :(

Shaving is overhyped, if your smart you don't need to shave to pay out $30-35 per signup, its a numbers game and the big boys know how to make it work.

I can pay out $25-30 on $1 trials all day any day on my program Wildcash.com and there is no shaving required, just a well oiled machine that took me 2 years to master.

Shaving is overhyped, cause if your shaving peoples sales then your sites aren't going to be converting for them so great, so they will stop promoting you. Thats a simple fact.

There are a lot of things of ways to maximize your profits if you're smart and innovative.
Shaving your webmaster would decrease your traffic. Any full time webmaster should know what to expect from their traffic. If it?s not performing properly, it will pulled and sent else where.
