Now ranked sixth in the world ? its highest standing ? the U.S. team is on the verge of being one of only eight nations to book passage to a to a fifth-consecutive World Cup.

It could all but lock up a place in the world's biggest sporting event with a victory against Trinidad & Tobago at Rentschler Field as it heads into the final five games of qualification play.

Do we stand a chance next summer?.....you bet.

It because the only good team you ever have to play in qualifying is Mexico,
Go into the South American qualifying, you never would.
