Magnitude-6.8 earthquake jolts northern Japan

A magnitude-6.8 earthquake hit northern Japan on Tuesday, shaking buildings as far away as Tokyo and triggering a tsunami warning, broadcaster NHK reported.

Japan sits at the juncture of four tectonic plates ? or moving slabs of the earth's outer crust ? and is one of the world's most earthquake-prone regions.

A magnitude-6.0 quake shook the Tokyo area on July 23, injuring more than two dozen people and suspending flights and trains for hours. A magnitude-5 quake can damage homes and other buildings if it is centered in a heavily populated area.

Havent really worked on the website in awhile but just got time as im in the process of moving again so im gonna take the next couple of days to revamp the site and do new sponsors.

Reguarding the quake..

A 20-inch tsunami was expected to reach Japanese shore about 15 minutes after the quake struck, NHK reported.

Tsunami warning issued; injuries reported in Sendai

Keep following that link for updated news if u have loved ones over there Associated Press updates it every 10mins or so.

It's been upgraded to a 7.2.
