has anybody who has had a baby regretted it? I've never heard anybody say "I wish I didn't have a kid" but then again, it might be one of those things that people simply won't openly admit.

Anyway, if it feels right and you can provide a decent start for your kid, go for it.

Going back to the topic, it always depends on you and your wife. I think, financial aspect won't really be a big problem for you and your wife. You can still most likely pursue that dream of a big/new house with your baby. :winkwink:
