It would have to be rock solid for 8%. Something I could put money into and pull it out when im 55.

Even 10-15 yrs ago microelectronics investments were 12-15%, 8 is crazy, thats not gonna pay the bill for sure.

Depends on the risk. I'd take 8% if it was guaranteed and backed by the gov.

I lost so much in the stock market that I'm gun shy now - everything's in FDIC insured money markets and my house

money invested in this biz can make very fast returns, but offline - i'd say 8% is fine if it's 100% safe

so far I've been mostly reinvesting in this biz ( domains ) but offline I can either put money in the bank, or buy rental properties, nothing else for sure
