I raced an r1 on my 02 buell. got 0wned up. he stopped next to me at the light
lifted his visor and told me he's in @ 180hp
heh he couldn't have been more than 120 lbs wet
looked like the nerd who lets you cut in line at the grocery store. glasses foggy on a sunny day etc. heh that bike was no laughing matter. I gave it my all. r1 > buell s3t 1203cc. of course its a harley .. that thing had the trick stuff though.

busa are nice, but heavy bikes. I've seen the record busa pushing 701HP in a mag..fucking crazy. I think i'm about to get the new Honda 9 series RR.. the one with the exhaust running under the seat.... they are pretty nice, lightwieght, and quick.

Those are the fastest bikes on the planet, they go over 200MPH, I have the R1 and a GSXR750, that bike there will eat them both for breakfast.
They are also the number one killers, and if you need parts for them, every junkyard has them because so many people crash them they are so fast.
That one there looks like the swing arm has been changed and stretched.
But seeing that one, damn. I want one now.

The Hayabusa is probably the fastest bike on a straight line ever. Period. Some are modified to such an extend that the horsepower they deliver is byond reason. However on a road with lots of bends a Ducati 998S or better yet a 998R will kick its butt. The busa is simply too heavy for the bends.

Then again ... maybe this is just me talking.

well, i have a 2001 hayabusa, completely stock except for an electronic chain oiler.

the stock busa will not do 200mph, but the '99 model without rev limiter would get very close.

it is a little heavy for only the very twisty stuff, but it is a much lighter feeling bike than many people think once it's rolling.

i have ridden sportbikes for 35 years and it is the ultimate sportbike, nothing comes close in overall engineering or fun riding. and not a bike for novices, very easy to kill yourself on it.

very advance aerodynamics, on many bikes the front end gets light over 100mph, at 140-150mph this bike is rock solid. the fastest i have gone is 160mph on mine, and that's enough for me.

the bike's rear hump pops off and you put the passenger seat on. takes about one minute.

actually it's very comfy for your babe, and the bike comes with handhold for the rear passenger, you pop that on when riding 2 up.
