second, i never paid for the bottle of cristal. the hotel did, and this order really has nothign to do with me either, just tired of hearing about it. i didnt place the order nor did it have any adverse effect on me, if your fat ass could afford to make it to miami, youd know that our party was a success without the flyers acidflyers fucked up :)

This thread shows what real amateurs there are in this industry compared to other industries..including some of the biggest names.

Nothing, and I repeat nothing anyone seems to throw together works right.

They all get a hair up their ass a few days before a show and expect it to fall together just the way they want it.

Apparently TrafficGigolos *yes what a professional sounding name for a company* is another one of those.

You order cards within days of a show....jeez you should have gone to a nearby print shop and paid for a rush job..one that you could have come back to within a few hours to okay the copy and get started..and POSSIBLY *a word I stress* have them done within the time frame you needed them done.

But no...you like most other sponsors, programs etc SUCK AT THIS.

i really do swear, and I may be wrong, but I am pretty damn sure, that almost every single event that happens in atlanta is using acidflyers.com for their printing

if it is like that in any other cities, i seriously doubt this thread will have much impact....

acidflyers.com rocks a big booty shaking dance of joy, and not just in the porn industry either!

I've worked for Brett for the last 6 months, although most of my time has been spent under his desk.

While trafficgigalo's argument may not have been well articulated, I think their beef is not the fact that their order didn't arrive on time, but that they were told by customer service at acid that they were being printed, delivered and carried personally too them. That didn't happen, and it took days into the show to get that straightened out. Late/Emergency/Rush order or not, that's pretty lame.

Just wondering why <insert any company's name> and think an apology on a bb and a refund is okay.

It seems that Acid tried and couldn't deliver. With all the volume printing that his shop does, I would think he would just send a nice email or call the customer saying the deadline is to tight for our shop...

My shop does do a lot of volume and it is very hard for me to stay on top of everything all the time. When this was brought to my attention by one of my customer service people on Monday night, when I designed the card for them. By the time I realized it wasn't going to be ready in time I had my customer service guy call Justin and let him know that we would refund 100% of his money AND send him the print ready art so they could print it at Kinkos. A fair deal if you ask me.

On top of all that, I did print them but was froced to recycle them since the job was cancelled. I actually lost money on this fiasco.

Sounds like you took a loss. But, no one asked you to recycle them showing no proof of ever printing the order. Guess you get a great deal in recycling than hiring CSRs. :upsidedow

we knew it was a rush job AND so did he, knowing that he could not get it done in time, why did he take the job? and then why did he lie about its status instead of telling us the truth and letting us move the order to a more reliable and expediant vendor?

furthermore, 3-5 days was within the window. i have worked in the print industry, lots of print shops work 7 days a week, an order on the 29th, had 6 days to be completed.

Why don't you guys learn how to run a business.

If you can't organize ordering flyers in time for a convention that happens every year on or about the same time each year then you probably can't handle much else. :1orglaugh
