They seems to be a popular program @ internext according to gfy and i see a shitload of 'mobbucks party threads' just like last year. But outside the internext topic i dont hear much about them.

So is mobbucks just a toy with a juicy element or a serious program?

alot of when you decide to push a program should be about the companies ethics. the guys lack no ethics and are good people. i too am not affiliated directly and am not on the payroll. giving any hot thing a shot is never a bad thing. i did, and i am very happy.

If I may be so bold as to say, I think MobBucks is doing a good job of getting their gimmick across. However, I think they would be well served to drop some site names in their posts. and maybe a link or two.

The reason I say this, I can't think of any major program without a site or two coming to mind immediatley.

I think you make a good point .. at first we marketed our names and the program to help open relationships and get the branding ... i think at this point it would benefit us to have more banners for our different sites in our Sig's ...we also want to buy banner space on GFY the showcases our site rather then the mobbucks name ... i think most people know us and those that don't will find us if they like the site ...thanks

Although I am a paid consultant I have to say this about the Mobbucks.com crew-

These guys are ethical, honest, and don't monkey around.
They do what they say they will do- and are working on making their sites money makers.

As with any initial launch results and traffic came slowly for them - the guys realize tha the only way to insure success is to align with the right kinds of people- and to give surfers what they really want.

There are a lot of great sites in the works right now as well-

Just out of curioisty and because you just luanched, did you consider not releasing explicit or nude content to TGPs etc? I've always been a firm believer that it hurts tha ratio severely. Not that the ratio is as important as the revenue, but I think keeping the goods for the member is better.

Any thoughts on this?

Well Simon... I don't know about all the history of KB's programs but he's been doing quite a nice job getting people on board for us. And for my own part, I think the string of programs I've worked with since '96 that have done well should give you an indication of what's to be expected here.

Shit doesn't happen overnight in this business anymore but the principals are all still the same and this program is going down the same path that I've been on several times now, watching them build into bohemeths. I'm certainly not deus ex machina for paysite programs but I know enough that when you put me with good hard working people that the things will sail and that is what's happening after much hard work and numerous hurdles. This is a good, solid team with strengths in many areas and, as has always been so important to me, made up of people not afraid to do what's right even if it makes it take longer.

So if you're looking to make judgements based on a "mobsters" past history, then take a look at the programs I've been involved with when you make your consideration.

I am sure they are nice guys, but take a look at their profitablity, I give them no longer than a year till they close shop. I hope I am wrong
