If Your Commission Check Bounces...

would you continue to promote them even though the first 9 checks were good?

Yes sometimes it has nothing to do with lack of funds and is a simple computer or routing error. Talk to them about it.

Yes, but I do levy a service fee. I'm a business just like anyone else, a check that bounces imposes costs, those costs are passed on if its deemed that they were at fault (ie: its not a bank error it bounced).

I did and it was attributed to "banking issues", also they told me I had to wait until the next payments were going to be sent out (a few weeks) to get a paid.

I just had this happen today with a mainstream client, their check bounced, I got the next period check (on a new account), but I now need to go after them for the previous period that bounced + service fees.

Of course. Most of the time, the sponsor will also reimburse you for any bank fees.

If they make the check good, of course. Shit happens.

Like the day, I had the same electonic transfer bounce three times in my account. Just bounced back and forth between computers at $30 a trip. That's even with funds "pending" for deposit. Plus plenty of funds in another account. Some weird shit. Can't really trust what the bank web site on your account says sometimes.

They said they would reimburse me after I fax the statement...The fee is only $4.50

I've gotten one check back because the signature was bad.
