Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed. |

HOLY SHIT! A serious thread from SPeRMiNaToR!!!
With all of the recent bullshit from the government what do you think is going to happen regarding affiliates and programs? The smaller guys can't afford to bend over for the government like programs such as Bangbros/NastyDollars/Adult.com. If the affiliates are now required to release their "business" address on their 2257 pages and have all the 2257 info for each model they promote I think there's going to be a lot of at home webmasters (like myself) that are going to find other ways to pay the bills. I know I don't want to give 1,000,000,000,000 people access to my home addess and name since there's shitloads of religious zealots out there that would fuck me up for what I do.
I'm not saying that I'm getting out of the biz anytime soon but I'm saying that there's going to be either a exodus of US based webmasters to other countries or MANY are going to say "FUCK IT! It's not worth it any more." please discuss |

you have always had to of displayed your business address, that is nothing new. So if you work from home, thats the address you are to list.
so the discussion here is, Is your 2257 compliant with the old regs?

No, you didnt have to provide a link to your 2257 statement on every gallery, just on the main page of the site, that is new. But...
If you hosted media that required 257 documentation, on your 2257 page you had to display the address you do business from. I remember a time when I used a P O Box as my address on my 2257 statements and when I asked about it, I was tore a new one. However you also got to get out of any inspection at that time based on the old definition of 'secondary producer'.
