Is Windows Service Pack 2 Causing Me Not To Upload?
I bought a new Dell and ever since I can't upload my files with any ftp clients. I can do this fine on my Dell Laptop, and so the tech guys are saying the problem might be service pack 2.
Is there any way around this? Anything I can do or use? Any help is appreciated. |

ya, more than likely the sp2 firewall may be causing this. I had the same problem after I installed SP2 and it was the windows firewall so I turned the fucker off.

I turned the windows firewall off, I disabled Norton Internet Security.
I've done everything I can think of and still it won't let me upload. Its really pissing me off now, coz I'm having to upload from my laptop and shit, and I don't have my network plugged in yet so its a lot of hassle... Anything else I can try? |
