...are fighting like banshees tonight.
Holy shit.
I heard a car horn honking earlier (it's way after 1 am here), then some very loud talking.... then more insane horn honking.... so I leashed up Sully (my dog) and we headed out to the back yard to check things out.
I quickly discovered that there was something going on with the house behind me. Lights were on, there is a car parked in the back lane partially blocking it.... then a few minutes later I see her.... the wife..... running down the back lane half naked.... and she covertly sneaks into their back yard and into their house.
I hear insane yelling a few seconds later.... I mean insane. I thought one of them was killing the other one. We don't want that. I'm thinking at this point about calling the gestapo....... but I wait. I don't want to cause more harm than good here.... and I don't want to be one of those asshole nosey neighbors.
Then, after a good 10 minutes of insane yelling, she and he both come out the back of their house, both get into their respective cars, both still arguing with one another..... Me, I'm just over here in my own back yard minding my dog and quietly watching, and thinking these two shouldn't be driving.
He fires up his car.... she (crying) fires up hers..... but hers is the one blocking the back lane.... and she is blocking his car in..... I think she sat behind the wheel crying and just didn't let him get out.... and eventually he got out of his car and they both (in time) went back into their house.
At the moment things are quiet, so I'll point out that he's a French guy, a postal worker,... she is a French woman... housewife... both are in their early 30's, typical middle class family with two teenage kids.
The wife is a hot hot HOT brunette..... and up until tonight (they've been my neighbours for over 10 years now) I have not noticed any kind of fighting going on.
This is trouble in paradise, definitely.
I'm not used to this sort of shit. I don't live in a trailer park by any stretch..... most of my neighbors are elderly truth be told. I'm finding it tough to know when to call the cops and when to just let things ride...... but as they've quieted things down now I think I'll just wait and see what happens.
I'm glad I'm single though. At least for tonight. :D
