Mine was an opel astra that i had for a few years and then early this year i bought a new audi tt quatro. I love that car really nice, engough room for 4 people and the things you get with it really sweet. Only the rims are not to cool i think.

That first car of mine was really crap

so what did you drive?

1986 Ford Tempo, it was my grandmother's car, so it was very clean and well kept. I was so excited to have a car, and some freedom.

1973 Ford Galaxy 500. It was banana yellow with a brown vinyl top. I paid $400 for it and then my boyfriend helped me while I rebuilt the whole engine. It was great! I drove that car to death. I wonder if it's still sitting in that ditch in Tennessee.

I drove the shit out of it untill one day the engine mounts broke and the engine fell out in the middle of I-75. I just pushed all the crap to the sholder and left it sit. Who knows where it's at now

'74 Maverick that I had for about 4 years until a 98 year old man in an old barge car darted out of a shopping center across the highway in front of me then stopped blocking both lanes

It smashed the front of my car in totally, while merely leaving a good dent in the backseat area of the driver side of his car, but still drivable, so he drove off. We got his tag, but it turned out his grandson was the traffic court judge so hit and run did not apply to him, so it was dismissed Turns out it was not the first wreck he had caused that year.

Mine was a very odd volkswagen bug, I paid $200 for it. It was odd because it had a bizarre semi-automatic transmission. You had to press down on the stick to engage the clutch, then jam it into gear. Needed a running start to get up hills. I loved it!

1979 Blue Toyota Celica - got it new for my 16th birthday (yes, I'm ancient). My Aunt offered to give me her Mercedes but I didn't want "an old person's car", lol! Drove that thing HARD for 6 years and over 200K miles. Never changed the oil or took it in for any kind of service. Ended up buying another new Celica in 1987

I am nearly 28 (2 more days) and I have never owned a car. I have my license but I take public transit and taxis everywhere I need to go. I save hundreds of dollars every month that way, and I never have to worry about driving under the influence.

When I do end up buying my first car, I'm going to want a hybrid or otherwise environmentally friendly vehicle.
