I just love the meat at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Too bad there's none in Europe.
It's broiled in a special butter & herb sauce. It's a real heart stopper. And those plates they bring it out on keep it hot the entire time you eat it.

Now thats how a steaks supposed to be!
Right on! It's the best. I also tried Morton's and The Capital Grill when I was in the states but it's just not the same.
Last time I was in Arizona I visited a Mexican restaurant which I fell in love with. I'm sure some of you AZ GFY'ers know this place Marylins First Mexican Restaurant, there's one on Tatum and one somewhere in Scottsdale.
I'm already married to a US citizen and it's still a pain in the ass to get all the papers after 9/11.
Are you serious? I thought it was really straight forward. My friends fiance is from Sweden and they are marrying in March. Her school visa is up soon I think. Is it that difficult?

thats crazy, most of the people in my area are from africa, middle east, china, cuba, mexico... (students) and they come and go like rain. strange that you're having problems. GL

It's a pain in the ass. I have been waiting for about 8 months now. You see the fast an easy way is to get a finace visa for your partner and get married in the USA, then its about 9 weeks and you have all your docs ready. BUT, if you decide to get married outside the USA and then take your spouse over to the USA it becomes a time consuming problem.

Trust me its normal, for students its also a little different. But if you want to become a perminent resident and get a full work permit it can get difficult.
He's having two weddings i think. one in sweeden and one in the US. I'll tell him to get it official in the US then go to sweeden. thanks for the insight

He needs to get his "legal" wedding in the USA but he can have his "church" wedding in Sweden.
I love this Greek restaurant 10 mins from my house. They started off small, but they've moved into big, classy digs now and they still have a packed house most nights. Bellydancers, live guitar, and awesome food. They even get a permit to roast the Easter lamb right there in the parking lot, just like back in Greece.
Mmmm.....
None of the chains are really my favourites, just because they're chains and they get watered down.
It changes all the time for me. Right now it's this little local wings place. They have sort of a sports bar type deal and have fucking WONDERFUL wings. I had them lastnight and went to bed a very happy man
Small chance for that entire bottle.. But at least you'll get a glass of Ouzo for free !
nice cause Greek restaurants around here are crap imho... Ill try it out for sure thanks, if youre ever over in Scheveningen (totally other side of Holland I know) check the Italian on the beach La Galleria amazing food (and dont go to the other places they suck big time)
I'll keep it in mind. I go to scheveningen about twice a year, and allways have a hard time not getting ripped of there.
I'll buy you a beer in A'dam.
