1:100
1:200
1:1000

The 180 clicks are actually from newsletters.

I normally average between 1:50 and 75 in general
Some programs are 1:25 others are 1:300

It all dependson what you are trying to sell

Closer to the truth on conversions on most anything. It depends on the keyword or phrase. Keyword "Pussy" is gonna get surfers looking for free porn. Keyword phrase "Sex Toy Store" is going to bring surfers looking to buy something. So do you want volume or quality visits to your site?

well i'm getting about 1:1600 off SE traffic that's targetted even, to a specific site. or about 1:7000 on raw hits to the tour.

We do typically between 1:300 and 1:400 on our best amateuresque keywords. That is total raw clicks, not just join page uniques. If I went by those then we would also be under 1:50.

I am more impressed with the raw click ratio than the join page uniques.

I should also point out that on our worst keywords we are doing 1:1000 to 1:1500 (total raw clicks)

Note: I don't expect anyone to believe me except our current affiliates and those that made us the #1 CE program when we still were with them.

Trax - exactly - the conversion rates I have on some very specific direct to a sponsor phrases that require no filtering at all (already done by the phrases) run 1:15 wheras I have tons of top10 listings in Google for generic phrases that run to a link list that can convert between 1:300 and 1:2000 - it depends on so many different things and is different even by niche, target site, phrase etc that it is totally impossible to make a generic statement about conversion rates from SE traffic - heck its even different by search engine

Master at Work - I would have to say that freeporn.com probably does make some money - but it has very little to do with its domain name since typeins dont mean much of anything anymore and a domain name "usually" has very little to do with how much traffic you get from a search engine - so I guess I would question why you would even make that statement in the first place?

everything up to keywords!

If you get 100 uniques for very small niche - you can get more than one signup.
But if you get 1000 uniques for "free pics" keyword - don't think what conversion will be incredible!

yeah the SE traffic i get is generally for the specific name of a hot paysite. one in particular with a great ranking and what you would think is good traffic is getting me near 1:6000 raw and that's for people looking specifically for that site.

If you can get an idea of how many searches are performed for a Keyword. A top 10 listining on Google should give you 1% of that traffic. Figure a 1% aggregate conversion to be safe and i think that model is a fair way to estimage traffic from your SE listings in Google.

I really only have one site that gets se traffic and that is pretty much 95% yahoo traffic. I'm doing 1:200-1:300 off of that usually. I'm happy with the results so far.
