Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed. |

Lots of Newbies at Internext?
Is it just me, or were there a lot of newbies at internext this time?
This is my 8th internext in a row, and I have to say most looked new. I also noticed about 20 people I have seen for about 5+ internext didn't even show up this time. I heard from others that people in the seminars most were raising their hands they were in 6 months or less, but then again maybe seminars are for the new people not sure. |

I thought the seminars were for everyone. After all, no one knows everything; that's why we have to take the time to learn from each other.
I'm glad to hear that the n00bs were in attendance. The best way to network and learn about the industry is face-to-face stuff. Talk with experienced webmasters and program owners, learn from them, absorb everything they're willing to teach you. ![]() Sorry I didn't make it, HighRoller. I hope you had a good time, at least. ![]() |

I noticed the same thing. Sure I left in December, but I was back in mid-March or so and I have seen more that I don't know than ones I did know. This was only my second show, my first being 2 years ago at this same one. But I was very surprised to find so many I either didn't know OR even recognize.
Made for a very interesting show though. All in all I was pretty pleased with the networking I was able to do and have made some very exciting new business deals, so it was all good in the end. Meeting new people is always great. I WOULD like to have seen more people I knew here though, since I don't get to get to these shows very often. |

I am a big believer in learning and learning for a lifetime, I'll never know a fraction of what I can and can be very humble, but the many seminars I went to 4+ years ago for my first internext I felt like I didn't learn hardly anything from, I know there is much much more to learn out there, but I've heard the same thing from others about the seminars, they are way too general.
