are they advertising this to some mainstream surfer places for people to pay to watch this thing?

all I am seeing is a silly camz.com style party for surfer based clientle

i was expecting to see some actual business discussions and maybe some views of the pool and crowd, but instead I am just seeing silly web girls bump butts and horny webmasters pawing all over them

what is the deal?

well, shit man, i have been to tons of shows, and tons of people broadcast from them....and this is the first time I have ever seen anyone broadcast a show and not show any respect to what the show is about....it is almost like they are just pushing for it to become more surfer oriented

The feed is great though, but yes when you set up a chat room like that you are asking for it. Chat rooms just spawn idiot behavior, and when your viewers are from the gfy pool you're asking for 100x the trouble. Exactly... its a first, its an attempt to do something cool, and fun with zero format. The idea was to show part of what happens here at the shows, a little bit of everything. I interviewed some people that talked biz and some that talked shit, its an open format that is for free for the webmaster community, we did not go to the public, it could have been very easy for us to do that.

Its a first and so far the programs that come on and talk about there systems or what they are doing, are showing a spike in there sign ups.

It was a way to 'reach out" to the world beyond the show, as we do this more the show will become more slick, or refined, so far its loose and fun..

Loose and fun is the way i do biz ...i like the building of relationships, etc.....this is for those who could not make it for what ever reason to give them a taste of the show.

Just enjoy the show, accept 'new" and lets have fun ....that is just it.

When you have webmasters/program owners on, please work a little harder to actually answe the questions.

I spend about 1-2 hours with you show running on the second monitor for shits and giggles, but when there were a interresting person on and i asked questions on the chat, you guys were more interesting in charming the models and acting like pimps - you dident ask one single question

I'm not a hater, and I'm glad you guys take the time to make this show

I am not a cam girl (obviously) and I had a great time there with Tassy,Honelynn, Tonda, DJ Airek, Caz, etc.... we talked some biz and goofed off. Answered a couple phone calls. I think it was a great idea and hopefully we'll get to do it again.

I think it is rather funny... in the sense that we are all here in the GFY forums looking at models and pawing them with "I'd hit it" threads and [PICS] threads... seems we are here wearing our sponsors T-shirts in our sigs. With a few business oriented information scattered about. Tell me, what exactly is the difference?

I would like to add that yes, there is surfers here, as I am sure there was surfers watching the feed jerking off. Surfers are curious to see what is happening on this side of the fence.

Also... we are all surfers, we were surfers before we were webmasters, and we will be surfers for as long as we keep clicking on links and ads. We are just a different market.

nice job on sunday you all, you kept the playfulness, but also had some nice interviews and were able to get away from the couch....much more fun to watch on sunday, that is for sure

as for tassy's comment, i wasn't directing it towards you in the least, i actually love listening to you and hal talk...it was the people that sat on the couch and had absolutely nothing to offer except "can i lick your nipple" and "wow, your hot"....over and over again...the things that if regular consumers were watching would make them want to flock to our industry and hit the shows instantly because porn girls are easy targets according to that stream....we are already seeing a lot of this, but when things like that happen we see it more and more every year

I know it is inevitable, but at least we can make an effort to curb it a little, instead of advertising it and welcoming it with open arms....and I am sure if any media outlets happen to read this forum and catch that stream, it gives them a nice impression of what we are like, when in reality, that is only a small percentage of us

very good point....but I also don't get involved with the hit it threads and pics threads...and my sig is my business....there is no difference though, except just like gfy threads with that shit, i stayed out of the stream for the most part...except sunday was a bit better

If you want serious business talk, come to the show and go to the seminars...wander the show floor and talk with the people doing business there...take prospective partners to lunch and discuss ways to make more money together.

There is a time and place for everything, and they were at the same place as the SC Bikini Contest, but no one is complaining about that...and what better time than when so many of us are gathered in one place?

I think it's very cool of Caz, Mike Hawk and Spikes to broadcast live for people and take that much time out of their schedule to provide a cool service for those not there.

I didn't catch that much of the broadcast, just a few minutes of Vanilla interviewing some ladies. Vanilla is a great personality on camera, I was very impressed.

I wish I would have caught tASSy and Arika too.
