The new Daft Punk CD is...

... the worst ever. The entire CD I'm waiting for something to drop but instead all I hear are steam engines warming up. How lame is that? So I buy their CDs and this is how they repay me by making me pay for something I want to pee on? Not so cool Daft Punk, not cool at all.

Thats why I donwload all my music. I repay the artist by spending $20-$80 on concert tickets. If I dont like it, I dont feel bad because I wont listen to it anyway.

1. that cd is not that new
2. yeah, it isn't that good

the first cd they did was amazing and pushed the limits of the electronic world...but now they seem to be stuck in this nasty rut, most of their shit sounds the same now

Just posted this about 10 mins ago on another board seems to fit the mood

----

If you want to check out more daft punk start from the begining and work forward. Homework was the first album and it rocks, minimal disco technoish type stuff (fench house I think it was called at the time), then they get progressively more 'noodly' thought Discovery and the new one which I can't even remember the name of... untill they have eventualy noodled up their own bums.
