How low will someone go inorder to get #1 on Google?

Apparently they will go pretty fucking low.

Domain with its PR4 and is now pushing porn off of it.

While I champion the idea of becoming innovative to achive your goals, this is just wrong. Taking a website for a good cause and turning it into porn is why half of the United States media is against us. Everyday I read in the newspaper or online about another story where someone bought up high PR domains and then turned them into porn peddling websites. Often the sites are for things like youth sports or charitable orginzations where the domain is dated (and therefor, outdated).

Sponsors really should look at where their traffic is coming from once in awhile and take control of this shit before Congress ratifies an ammendment about it.

Keep in mind that if the Hun, and most of the big traffic tickers all moved back to the 1998 which everyone is so fond of, and there was no genitalia allowed, ONLY in this business would you have a whole bunch of homo's who would start up some version of 'we fight the power' shit. And be all hardcore in some place like Thailand.

This industry can't function in regards to trying to get the pandora back in the box as a whole because of people like this. All the GFY chatter about coming together, self regulating, and so forth. this is nothing new. I posted a thread like this 3 years ago about people doing the same thing with kids domains... star wars to be exact.

Someone on this board was taking dropped star wars domains and filling the dropped site with porn links but keeping the indexes the same with the exception of adding links to the new directories.

bad shit goes down, has been going down and lots of times is someome you might know of.

Actually all 50 States have to ratify for an amendment to be added to the constitution.

Only unusual thing is that the WHOIS shows almost the same registrant data for both LIFELONGAIDSALLIANCE.ORG, LLAA.ORG - which work properly and misused AIDSWALK2003.ORG with contact emails at llaa.org. Keep thinking that, if you had people hitting your site from searching a star specifically, you should have been rockin out sales, it sounds like more of a sales problem then a conversion.

These surfers knew what they wanted, all you have to do is give it to them with a nudge to buy. Its like runnin a bakery and having a guy come in and ask for BREAD. Thats a pretty good indication that he is a customer.
