Eastenders and Corination Street (both night time soaps)

as far as sitcoms go there aren't many major current ones around I guess 'My Family' is as much of a sitcom as there is at the moment but I wouldnt call it a huge hit. Most of the big 'hits' are sketch shows or reality shows.

Of those I would say the biggest success at the moment by far is "Little Britain" with Big Brother right behind.

Litttle Britian has a cult like following at the moment.

Big Brother is on Channel 4 and is popular with those with nothing better to do and have no life of their own and like to watch shallow morons all day I would guess.

Holy cow - Corination Street is still on? That show has been on forever then. Since B&W. It has been 26 years since I lived in England.

yup...i never watch it (I am an Eastenders and no other soaps type of gal) but it is indeed still on.
