				 | FSC Membership Meeting Scheduled for Florida Internext Hollywood, Fla. ? The Free Speech Coalition will hold a general membership meeting during the summer Internext convention in Hollywood, Florida, which begins this Friday and runs through Sunday. The meeting will be held Saturday, August 6, at 10:00 a.m., in the same ballroom in which the seminars are being held. On the agenda will be a brief update of the 2257 lawsuit, as well as other FSC news and information of interest to Internext attendees and exhibitors. We encourage all members, non-members, and potential members to show up with questions and comments. Of special note, we encourage anyone who has joined the Free Speech Coalition within the last month or so and has not yet received membership confirmation, or whose credit card has not yet been charged, to show up to this meeting. We will deal with each situation individually in order to clear up all problems or issues related to FSC membership. If we run out of time during the meeting, FSC staff will be available at our booth on the show floor to take care of anyone we do not get to during the meeting. We thank all our old and new members for continuing to support the Free Speech Coalition as it continues to fight to protect your right to do lawful adult entertainment business in this great country. Free Speech Coalition is the trade organization of the adult entertainment industry. Its mission is to safeguard the industry from oppressive governmental regulation and to promote good business practices within the industry. |

It really isnt that hard to put up a general response and send them out to everyone that joined. I dont think they planed this very well and if they are behind, then hire some fucking people to get the job done. Afterall they collected a hefty sum of money from all the people that joined so you would think they could hire on some temp help to get the information out. I guess if we aren't going to FL then we wont get an answer to the dilema we are in. I personally would like to see some sort of documention that states we are members besides my bank account showing they have removed the funds. | |

				 | I got something in the mail from the FSC about 3 weeks after I joined up. This was during the whole fiasco when everyone was going crazy. |

				 | Since I'm in Texas, not on the Membership Committee, and I don't have access to the membership records, I'll restate what I do know. The FSC office staff is working on contacting thousands of people. If you saw you were charged on your credit statement, your bank account drafted, or you received a fax confirmation, you are covered by the agreement if your submission was timely. As mentioned above, the FSC will be at the Internext with personnel who will be working to resolve confirmation problems on an individual basis. I will forward this thread to Tom Hymes, Communications Director, and Michelle Freridge, Executive Director, so they will be aware of your concerns. I wish I had all the answers......I know that thousands have recieved confirmations; so please be patient a little while longer. |
