I just finished reading a couple books by Christopher Golden ('Of saints and shadows' and 'Angel souls devil hearts') about Vampires.. and a great read (can't wait to get the next one in the series)

.. one thing I found hilarious is the convoluted theory in the book (it's fiction) that Jesus Christ battled pure vampires and got infected. He managed to kill all the pure ones and send them back to hell, but cos he was infected by them it meant that when he died he was resurrected as a semi-vampire.. and this leads on to the theory that vampires have souls, even though they're kinda demonic. (it's an interesting read cos it also has the Catholic church trying to brainwash vampires - that the crucifix will kill them, sunlight and all that.. it's all brainwashing from the church)

Yknow.. when you know history of Christianity and marry it up with vampirism.. it's kinda close.. :helpme I mean, I could see it as a potential.. ! :upsidedow

Anyway, probly off topic kinda (and I probly sound like a raving lunatic :winkwink: ), but I felt like sharing it anyways :thumbsup
