LOL, is there really that much worth watching out there? I have a couple thousand channels and still have to scrounge sometimes to find something decent to watch

The TiVo Digital Video Recorder (DVR) cannot record two shows at one time, but you can configure your TV/DVR setup to record one show as you watch another live program by using an RF splitter. For more information on configuring your DVR with an RF splitter, go to Watch One Channel, Record Another (w/Cable Box). Otherwise, TiVo offers several tools to help prioritize recordings.

FYI- The dvr that works with DirecTV CAN record two channels at once. I love mine!

Damn - I'm jealous as fuck now. I had high hopes they'd changed Tivo so it could do that with the cable box and that's the message they gave me.

When American Idol collides with NCIS - I'm screwed if I'm not home to watch one through the VCR!
