Just finished a bloody battle over the writing credit for the Dukes of Hazzard. Despite writing the whole enchilada and working on it for a year, we got screwed over by the Writers' Guild. Turns out the Guild doesn't like to see Directors get writing credit so they do everything in their power to stop it. So instead of Jay and the Lizards, they gave the credit for our work to some hack named John O'Brien who wrote a jokeless, vanilla version of a script before we all got involved. Anyway, despite the screwjob, everyone should check it out on Aug. 5th. Jay did a great job and I'm sure you'll recognize our stink on the flick... not to mention one or two familiar faces. http://www.brokenlizard.com/blog/
