    Kiss Fans?

Anyone here a big Kiss fan? I'm looking for the full Kiss Alive 1 collection in mp3's, or at least some of them. I have the odd one but I would really like to have the whole album.

My husband and my oldest son are HUGE fans of KISS......... I have a friend that has about every note they have ever played on mp3, he's made screensavers and everything dedicated to KISS........... I'll see what I can find out for you if you like.

          Hey Pete ...

Do you remember the 4 solo albums that each original member (including Peter Chriss) did right aroung the time they came out ??

I have the complete set (on vinyl), only played one time - so I could copy them to tape

I was offered like $500 for the 4 of them several times, and that was over 10 years ago ... any idea what they're worth ??? I'd be curious ...

Hungryman, I don't know man. Maybe you should've taken the $500, he he he.

Looking on Ebay's completed auctions, I seem them going from $20 up to $200 for the picture discs. Then again, I haven't seen any totally mint records. I'm sure that to the right collector, they could be worth a lot more than that.

You'd think that they'd be worth a lot more than what Ebay says. Then again, with the remasters out on CD, that probably cuts down some of the demand for the records, except for the major collectors.

When I see those damned guys play, I turn the channel. I don't know if I turn it out of disgust, or terror, but either way, I have never liked them and never will. They're like Mic Jagger, they have to realise that they are over the hill, and continuing on with something they should have stopped with long long ago...
I can't think of anything funny to say..

Ha ha ha, noooo, I didn't mean it that way. I should perhaps rephrase that. I should say with remastered cds out there, the demand for the records might not be as high. There's classic stuff that I thought about getting on record, but I thought "what the fuck, why not get it remastered on cd".

As far as appraisals, I guess that you're pretty much right, HOWEVER, Ebay is one of the biggest places to sell stuff, if that's what a majority of the people wanna pay for them, then that's what you'll get, he he he. Unless you find a die-hard Kiss fan or go to a Kiss convention, you might be outta luck for selling it for big money.

Hungry Man, I dont know what they would be worth now. I would just hang on to them. I sure do remember when those albums first came out. I remember seeing Kiss in concert in 1979 at maple leaf gardens like it was yesterday! I'm not to crazy about the newer stuff but from Dynasty back they were great

I just read Gene Simmons' autobiography this morning "Kiss and Make Up" Pretty fascinating if you loved them as a kid like me. Boy... does he have zero respect for Ace (and to a lesser extent, Peter).

He swears the reunion was the last time Kiss will touch a stage, so know it's only Jagger and the boys (ha!) that will carry the geriatric torch.
