Big Al has decided to move on to new ventures after making a fortune on ForSize.com."

Umm a fourtune, 20k net in a year? Shitt there are a few sites out there that pull me in more then that a week, I wonder how much I could dump them for on ebay? Maybe I am just misunderstanding this auction, something just don't click with the 20k net yearly fourtune.

Guys, please stop second guessing and read the entire thread! Forsize.com makes WELL OVER $20K per year from the CCBill revenues alone! We also have upsells, ad spots, and other billing methods that make forsize.com the bulk of its profit. If you want a spreadsheet with all of the details, please contact Rollin. :thumbsup

Actually, that's already overpriced. Value of online isn't like value of brick and mortar. Something like this is worth approximately 3 months gross revenue. So it's worth between $20k-$30k IF the extra income you mention is accurate.

Says who?

SR 08-07-2005 10:50 AM

It's a nice site and the search engine ranking makes it worth quite some but A few months back I contacted you because I was interested. The asking price was $100K back than which is way too high I think.

Anyone with a top 20 ranking for penis enlargement related keywords on google please hit me up.

I think that's an arbitrary estimate designed to try to get website owners to sell their sites for less than what they're worth. I don't know ANY other webmasters that would sell a profitable site for only 3 months' worth of income! I've personally sold websites based on more than 1 year's worth of gross revenue.

Says the man hoping to sell the site...

ajapub 08-07-2005 11:21 AM

I'd say it whether I was selling the site or not. Ask other webmasters if they'd sell for 3 month's rev. Would you? :winkwink:

I'm merely saying what the actual value of a site is... what you're willing to sell for and what someone is willing to buy for are another story.

Brick and mortar, you can get 2 years gross. Online? 3 month's gross is what it's worth.

I have to agree with Rollin when I say "says who?"

I'm also into real estate myself. You wouldn't happen be selling any land by chance? I'd LOVE to buy any properties you have available for 2yr's worth of income. :winkwink:

You didn't answer my question. Who says an online business is worth a 1/4 of a brick and mortar business? WHO SAYS THAT? Remember, your personal opinion doesn't count.
