I tried it once for awhile, it will make you appear broader in the chest yet thinner in the stomach... I could not keep it up. But if I were to wear a corset, I don't think I would have much choice. hehe

ok about that breathing part is not correct. As alomst every one is breathing with their chest. it are the people training martial art and other sport that learn to breath with the stomag because that is much better then we your chest. I had those training my self in the 15 year of martial art i did.

Actually, they are using their abdomen as the main muscle, the stomach just helps.

Diaphram breathing is used by singers and athletes, it's more air volume if you breathe into your stomach, but you're also filling your lungs so you're getting more air.

I agree here. My ex husband is an instructure in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and he does the same thing.

I on the other hand breath with my chest, now I am trying to do it with my stomach and it is not easy!
