Anyone familiar with the Adult Devil TGP script?

I'm having trouble editing the templates.
I'm trying to edit the default line to not show the date, and I save the template and it says "template saved"
But then when I open the template up again it looks exactly like it did before, no change was made.

If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Yeah I haven't been able to get the guy to answer an ICQ message in months.

I bought the site from him over a year ago and I'm just getting around to learning how to use the script.

I haven't used the script in a while, but if I remember correctly, at the bottom of the page where you update the templates are links something along the lines of "update templates"... "Duplicate templates" or similar.

In order to make your template live across the categories, you have to click that/those link(s).

That makes sense...but I'm not even talking about making the template live across the site. I'm updating the template, then opening the template up again from inside the script, and none of my changes were saved.

Only reason I can think of it wouldn't save your changes is if the file permissions are wrong...

FTP in and make sure the templates are writable (666). Sorry it's been too long to remember which files, but I recall they weren't hard to find.

From that who will build, the success of action depends. To decide only to you.
