I didn't like Charlie and the Choclate Factory

So, I saw the movie last night and I was bored. I thought Johnny Depp did a good job... I think I was bored because it was a remake and I already knew what was gonna happen. They didn't even do the umplumpa song and they only used 1 umplumpa, lol. The original was so much better... classic. Why the fuck do directors want to remake movies? They should just leave certain movies alone.

Next on my list is Wedding Crashers and Four Brothers

this version was STUPID! I watched about 45minutes of it then shut it off. The original was much much better.

Why the fuck do directors want to remake movies?

Because they don't have any original ideas

I still want to see it - as long as it isn't as much of a musical as the first that is!

I went into in knowing that they were not going to do the movie exactly the way the original was done. I liked it, however, I do appreciate the first one much more. Also, the kids that are going to see it now, have no idea that this is a remake and whom Gene Wilder even is....

Partial remake, this one is based on the book, the first one was loosely based.

I haven't seen it yet, maybe i should make it a daytime.

Are you retarded? It NOT a remake. It's based on the BOOK. By the way the book's author HATED the 1971 movie that's why the changed the name. His heirs were personally involved in this one and this version stays more true to the book.

I liked it, I thought parts of it were pretty close to the book.
