Content Providers does this give you wood ?

How about a 1 Petabyte Storage System for all your images

A Petabyte is 1000 Terabytes and a Terabyte as most will know is 1000 gigs.
This company produce systems for as little as $2 per gig.

They are selling their Petabyte storage for a measly $2 million !!!!!

To put this in perspective a Petabyte would hold 450,000 hours of TV programs, or one hell of a large porn collection. Fuck Tivo i want one of these ?

Not really because its multiple pieces of hardware put together into one. Now of course depending on the raid setup you could get fucked if a harddrive went dead but I would think no one would be that stupid.

Oh, boy... That's awesome...

But it's just too much for today... Maybe in 10 years, who knows...

In related news:

"Animal rights organization PETA issued a statement today declaring the term "Petabyte' to be disrespectful and derogatory considering PETA members would never bite another living creature. They have asked all future tech documents to use the term "Petanibble" instead."
